" Love Down By The Seaside"

"Love Down By The Seaside"

Isn't it funny that when you are not in love, all those musky sentiments you hear don't make sense? But then, when you fall in love, you can't image anything closer to the truth. For some it's the clichéd reunion stories.  After months apart and 3,000 miles later they are reunited having no idea what to expect. Both wondering would they still have the same connection?

His heartbeat was so loud he was worried that the people walking in front of him could hear it. And then. . . he sees her and it is as if a single spotlight was shining down on her in the middle of a sea of loveliness.

Her long beautiful hair fell flowing down her back in waves. Her blue eyes were piercing. Her smile lit up the seaside as they ran toward each other just like in the movies. He caught her in his arms, spinning in circles in the middle of the busy sea side boardwalk on a hot summer day. For a second, they were the only ones on the boardwalk. Just like that, the doubts and the distance fell away, leaving the two of them together, in love down by the sea side.

While reflecting about the emotions that he felt about being reunited with her he wrote this: If emotions were oceans I'd take to the Sea with you and build a big sail boat and take you away with me. Adrift on our love we'd sail far from shore, cast off all our worries and laugh, live and love down by the sea side. Distance doesn't have to mean the end of love . . .  it can mean it's time to wait.
